With the collapse of the  Western Roman Empire, we saw the fall of a common currency and the dawn of the Dark Ages… What will happen to the European Union with the demise of Greece and the current global economic down turn.  Will we see the German Deutsche Mark and the French Franc reappear?

“The die is cast” These words were spoken by Julius Caesar, as he crossed the Rubicon, forever changing the history of Rome. Through life we cross many Rubicons some small and other large that will change the direction of our lives.

This is the first day of random thoughts about everything and nothing.
