Day 1.

Started the day with a 10 minute repair at Costco on the way to SFO.
Since I’m at the international terminal SFO, I went ahead and checked the equipment at Joe the Juice. (Working vacation)
Breakfast with my Bowl of coffee, finally here. Lost my luggage in Dublin, maybe they stollen the suitcase for the beer, I was bringing to France.
View from our window (Pascale’s childhood bedroom).

hi

Today was the last get together at the farm in the wood for the retirees friends that my dad actively organized. Once a year the old men invite their wives or their daughters to a feast, to thank them to let them enjoy their men cave in the forest all year long.
Menu:
Champagne soup and finger food for apéritif, two appetizers for gras and gravlax salmon, Bazadaise beef, Sarladaise potatoes and wild mushroom cooked in duck fat, cheese platter, plum and apple tourtière, fruit salad served with the best vanilla custard, coffee, Belgium chocolates, Armagnac.
That’s it! OMG!
Such a great time hanging out with all of them. Greg survived the old gang!
Felton has been the sous chef of two stars chef Hervé Saclier, and I have had the privilege to help tree star chef Claude Darroze. AMAZING TIME in the kitchen with them, Greg was thrilled!
Day 2: Road Trip the the beach house in South West Frence.
