French Vacation

Only days away, flying from SFO to Paris then Bordeaux, dinner with Pascale’s family…meet, greet, eat and drink, not necessarilyin that order…While preparing for France, Kyle is in Austria..doing whatever a seventeen year old boy will do… Drinking and forgetting about texting his Dad!

Finished all the work related stuff before leaving the country. Just face time Kyle, great to hear his voice and see him.

7/4/2018 private wine tour, old family friends going back 2 generations with Pascale’s dad. Roger Fernandez founder of the winery was Pascale’s grandpa friends. Discovered red, white and rosé production, most wine years have been gold or silver medals at national and international blind wine tasting. Established Bordeaux Superior for the red wine category of the Entre Deux Mer grape variety.

The best Oysters, I have ever had…they pack them in salt water instead of fresh water, American’s tend to pack in fresh water. The Sea snails were also very good.
